Christmas Kettle Campaign Assistant

Support the Christmas Kettle Campaign with The Salvation Army as a Kettle Assistant. This role involves volunteer recruitment, daily operations, and communication to ensure a successful campaign.

The Salvation Army, a faith-based organization, is seeking a Christmas Kettle Assistant to facilitate volunteer recruitment and schedule management. You will foster relationships with Kettle locations, coordinate supply deliveries, and handle donations securely. Excellent communication and customer service skills are key for engaging with volunteers and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit and schedule Christmas Kettle volunteers

• Provide ongoing support and orientation to volunteers

• Maintain the Kettle schedule and manage cancellations

• Coordinate delivery and pick-up of Kettles and supplies

• Respond to donor inquiries about SA programs

Requirements:

• One year of customer service experience

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Ability to lift 9 to 12 kg (20-25 lbs)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Willingness to uphold The Salvation Army’s mission
