Position: Extendicare Registered Practical Nurse Role
Provide compassionate care as a Registered Practical Nurse with Extendicare. This part-time position requires strong clinical skills and a commitment to resident well-being in a collaborative environment.

At Extendicare, we’re seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to work within an interprofessional team dedicated to enhancing residents' quality of life. You will conduct clinical assessments, implement care plans, and provide direct resident care while ensuring compliance with all standards.

Your role will involve coordinating care conferences, managing significant changes in resident conditions, and supporting unregulated care providers to facilitate optimal care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete clinical assessments and maintain care documentation

• Plan and evaluate resident care plans effectively

• Participate in residents' care conferences as required

• Provide direct care and medication administration safely

• Coordinate nursing team assignments for efficient service delivery

Requirements:

• Registration as a Practical Nurse in your Province/State

• Experience in senior care environments preferred

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

• Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required

• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS)
