Explore a Nuclear Occupational Health Nurse role at Can Atom, driving health and safety for the Pickering Nuclear Refurbishment Project. Provide critical support in recovery and wellness initiatives.
As part of Can Atom’s team, you’ll report to the Director of EHS, advising on medical matters and ensuring compliance with occupational health standards. You will deliver first aid services, maintain health records, and coordinate with internal and external healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
• Provide immediate first aid at the project site
• Track documentation for workplace injuries and health cases
• Manage health education initiatives for joint venture personnel
• Collaborate on return-to-work plans with EHS
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario is essential
• Familiarity with WSIB processes is an asset
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a nuclear environment
