Position: Clinical Practice Nurse Clinician Role
Cambrian College School of Nursing seeks twenty Clinical Practice Nurse Clinicians for part-time roles. This position focuses on supervising nursing students in various clinical settings while ensuring quality education and safety.

As a regular part-time Clinical Practice Nurse Clinician at Cambrian College, you will oversee student learning during their clinical placements. Key responsibilities include evaluating student performance, assigning appropriate patient care experiences, and orienting students to professional standards. You will work closely with healthcare teams to foster a positive environment for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and evaluate clinical student placements

• Assign patient care tasks to enhance critical thinking

• Provide learning experiences across various care settings

• Orient students to clinical policies and standards

• Maintain collaboration with medical staff and teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing required

• Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario

• Valid CPR and First Aid certification

• Minimum five years in acute/long-term care

• Excellent communication and mentoring skills
