Nuclear Mechanical Inspector at CanAtom

Take on a crucial role as a Nuclear Mechanical Inspector with Can Atom, focusing on quality functions in the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station project. This position emphasizes quality inspections and adherence to specifications.

As a key member of the Aecon Quality Program, you will execute inspections, monitor weld quality, and support compliance with technical standards. Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, you'll ensure the highest quality during RF  construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute inspections as per the required standards

• Conduct visual inspections and welding assessments

• Review and validate quality records promptly

• Collaborate with quality team members on site

• Support all quality activities under the Quality Program

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Nuclear industry quality standards

• Competent to obtain OPG Security Clearance

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Preferred qualifications in welding or QA/QC discipline

• Physical ability to work in challenging environments
