Civil Quality Inspector at CanAtom

Join Can Atom's team as a Civil Quality Inspector, focusing on inspection tasks for the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. This position involves collaboration, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.

In this critical role, you will help supervise and implement the Quality Program during construction activities related to the RF  project. Your expertise in civil inspections and codes will ensure all tasks meet necessary regulations and quality specifications. You will work closely with Quality Control Supervisors and contribute to a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections according to construction plans

• Conduct civil inspections and weld evaluations

• Record and validate quality records promptly

• Assist in supporting site QC activities and audits

• Climb into difficult spaces for thorough inspections

Requirements:

• Understanding of civil quality inspection principles

• Strong communication and computer skills

• Background in welding technology or QA/QC preferred

• CSA W178 Level 1 inspection experience an asset

• Must be available for flexible work shifts
