Quality Control Inspector - Electrical

Take charge of electrical quality assurance with Bird Construction in Pickering, Ontario. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will ensure compliance with codes and oversee inspections on industrial projects.

The Quality Control Inspector will report to the Quality Lead and work closely with the construction team in ensuring all electrical elements meet local standards and client requirements. You’ll conduct inspections, verify compliance, and support the implementation of the project quality program directly on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify requirements for Construction Inspection and Test Plans

• Oversee inspections and ensure compliance with specifications

• Perform and document electrical testing activities

• Review drawings, specifications, and inspection records

• Prepare detailed inspection reports and track deficiencies

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Minimum five years in electrical inspection or QA/QC roles

• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and Ontario Building Code

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems

• Journeyperson Electrician license considered an asset
