Grocery Associate

• Maintain Grocery Department Standards – keep the grocery department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer‑ready at all times.
• Stock Rotation and Product Quality – rotate merchandise regularly and remove expired or damaged products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy – ensure merchandise is correctly signed and priced. Follow established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Food Safety and Sanitation – follow food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Stocking and Modular Execution – ensure the department is fully stocked and ready for business by stocking merchandise and picks, completing down stocking as required, applying product protection when needed, and setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Health and Safety Compliance – follow all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard‑free workplace.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) – be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

• High Task Volume in a Fast‑Paced Environment – manage overnight hours effectively and plan accordingly to stay energized and focused.
• Physical Demands – perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Perform repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency.
