Retail Keyholder

Position: Retail Keyholder Pet Valu
Join Pet Valu as a Retail Keyholder in Pickering, Ontario, and contribute to pet care excellence while enhancing customer satisfaction. Manage store operations and assist customers daily.

In this role, you will ensure the store operates smoothly by effectively handling transactions and managing merchandise. With a strong customer service background of two years, you will engage with pet owners and play a part in achieving store goals. Your responsibilities will include opening and closing the store, as well as guiding staff in the absence of management, all while promoting a safe and inviting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct cash transactions and assist customers

• Prepare and manage inventory and paperwork

• Stock small items in the store accurately

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store

• Unload and organize deliveries of heavy items

Requirements:

• Two years of experience in retail or customer service

• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transactions

• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor

• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs frequently

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license may be required
