This position will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our facility by effectively screening inbound and outbound trucks at the gatehouse. The ideal candidate is highly responsible, has a keen eye for detail, and is committed to maintaining a secure environment.

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid / CPR
• Proven experience in security, preferably in a gatehouse or similar setting
• Excellent communication skills, observation, and attention to detail
• Conduct s, vehicle/trailer inspections, and visitor logging
• Able to write reports on job‑related activities
• Keen eye for observing exterior and interior premises
• Access control experience
• Has a vehicle and is able to commute in Durham
• Personal vehicle is an asset
• Ability to walk/stand 12‑hour shifts, providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents

$19.22 per hour
