Join Pickering Casino Resort as a part-time Security Officer, where your role is to ensure the safety of guests and staff. This position entails monitoring activities and compliance with safety measures.
Working directly under the Security Manager, you will enhance guest experiences while ensuring the protection of all individuals and assets. A background in customer service, effective communication skills, and at least 2 years of experience are essential. Your observations will help maintain a secure environment and address any potential hazards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Document and report unsafe conditions and violations
• Conduct thorough patrols of casino premises
• Provide first aid as needed and manage crowd control
• Escort guests and manage access restrictions
• Assist in the Self-Exclusion program as directed
Requirements:
• 2+ years in customer service or public safety roles
• High school diploma; post-secondary education is a bonus
• Class “G” driver’s license with good record
• Current First Aid/CPR certification is a must
• Available for flexible working hours, including nights
