Residential Waste DZ Driver & Picker

Miller Waste Systems is hiring a full-time DZ Driver/Picker in Pickering, ON. Focus on safe residential waste collection and provide excellent service to the community.

As a DZ Driver/Picker in this permanent position, you will handle various waste stream collections.

Your role includes transporting waste to designated facilities and maintaining high standards of service for residents. With an emphasis on safety compliance, you will engage with the community while completing around 800 collection stops each day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform yard waste, recycling, and garbage collections

• Ensure timely delivery to transfer stations and landfills

• Provide top-quality customer service during collections

• Comply with safety protocols and company policies

• Properly return emptied waste bins to residents

Requirements:

• Valid DZ Driver's Licence and clean driving history

• Familiarity with the Occupational Health & Safety Act

• Strong safety consciousness in daily tasks

• Physically able to manage up to 50 lbs

• Commitment to diversity and inclusive practices
