PHARMACY / PART‑TIME PHARMACIST – KROGER
Job Summary: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a safe and clean environment, delivering high‑quality pharmacy services while upholding Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities- Commit to delivering customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company in person and on social media.
- Administer immunizations to customers following Kroger standing orders and procedures.
- Provide clinical services, dispensing medications, compounding, and reviewing prescriptions per regulations.
- Verify new and existing prescriptions for errors, drug interactions, and patient profile accuracy.
- Oversee the work of Pharmacy Technicians and Interns, ensuring all prescriptions are accurately assembled.
- Support special promotions in collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager.
- Maintain day‑supply metrics and monitor recall protocols.
- Adhere to all state and federal licensing requirements, quality assurance, and security of controlled substances.
- Assist in prevention and reporting of theft, fraud, and safety hazards.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on equipment and reinforce safety programs.
- Report accidents or incidents to management promptly.
- Adapt personal schedule to cover open shifts as needed.
- Communicate relevant information within the department to support organizational goals.
- Comply with company policies, union contracts, HIPAA, Medicare, and DEA procedures.
- Collaborate with teammates to promote teamwork and align organizational objectives.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm
D. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self‑motivated, with strong initiative to achieve high standards and results.
- Management experience preferred.
- Pharmacy experience.
- Retail experience.
