Job Description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment candidates for an onsite position in Canal Winchester Ohio. This opportunity supports prescription fulfillment, medication processing, and distribution in a pharmacy fulfillment environment.

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment team member provides order-processing support and assists with the preparation and distribution of prescription medications using the fulfillment system. All duties must be completed in accordance with standard operating procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Process new patient registrations by entering information into the appropriate systems.
• Handle prescription requests in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
• Identify and resolve missing prescription information and interpret medical abbreviations and SIG codes.
• Resolve prescription data-entry exceptions and third-party insurance rejects by reviewing information, making corrections, and resubmitting claims.
• Operate automated machinery and sort medications through various fulfillment workflow stages while maintaining quality control.
• Count and fill prescriptions, apply labels, package orders, and prepare medications for shipment.
• Clean and maintain equipment and keep the work area organized.
• Assist pharmacists at the facility and other locations as needed.
• Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff.
• Maintain an active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license or accepted certification, keeping credentials in good standing and sufficiently far from expiration.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ohio Pharmacy Technician licensure is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic computer skills, including navigating programs, saving files, printing documents, and accessing online information.
• Basic internet and search engine navigation skills.
• Intermediate keyboarding skills, including touch typing, at least 25 WPM, and document formatting.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work a flexible shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active PTCB (CPhT) or ExCPT certification.
• Current Ohio Pharmacy Technician license/registration in good standing, with at least 6 months to 1 year remaining before expiration.
• 6 months–2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or fulfillment environment.
