Part-time Trauma Advanced Practice Provider - Pickerington (NP/PA)

Job Description Summary
:
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) works in collaboration with the physician in hospital-basis inpatient and outpatient settings, providing care for stable to critically ill patients across all levels of care. The APP performs invasive procedures and requires a high level of independent clinical decision-making.

Responsibilities
:

• Work under direction and in consultation/collaboration with the supervising physician, performing services authorized by the physician that are part of the physician's normal course of practice and expertise.
• Promote quality outcomes and initiatives.
• Maintain a Supervision Agreement (SA) or Standard Care Arrangement (SCA) with a physician in a like practice.
• Practice within applicable state laws, appropriate boards, and in accordance with the SA/SCA and delineation of privileges.

Minimum Qualifications
:

• CNP – Certified Nurse Practitioner – American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.
• RN – Registered Nurse – Ohio Board of Nursing.
