Traveling Store Manager

Job Summary

The Traveling Store Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of a Buckeye Gold Coin & Jewelry store in accordance with company, state, and federal policies and procedures. The manager focuses on customer service interaction by buying and selling coins, bullion, and jewelry and accurately conveying product and service information. Locations include Dublin, Grove City, Pickerington, Clintonville, and Westerville.

• Provide customers with information about the products and services of Buckeye Gold Coin & Jewelry.
• Ensure full customer satisfaction and maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor.
• Properly set up and break down jewelry/coin cases and correctly identify, sort, and separate gold, silver, and platinum by purity.
• Secure all company assets as directed by company policy.
• Maintain rapport with regular customers at each visited location.
• Handle cash by balancing the register each morning and evening. Process all buy/sell tickets with appropriate documentation and verify customers are not on the Do Not Buy list. Process eBay sales, package items, and arrange postage within 24 hours. Keep records of transactions in proper order and file them appropriately. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

• Ability to work a 9‑hour shift.
• Ability to frequently stand and sit during the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to walk with 25 pounds after lifting.
• Ability to communicate by speaking and listening with comprehension.
• Own or have access to a reliable vehicle and the ability to safely drive to and from work.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No criminal history other than traffic violations.
