The Beauty Advisor (BA) provides an exceptional experience for all Ulta Beauty guests by engaging each guest to determine their individual needs, conducting cashier tasks, keeping fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing tasks as required. The BA supports leadership through service sales, guest service, and process compliance. Passion for the beauty industry, exceptional guest service, and product knowledge are essential.

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greETING and engaging, personalizing service, answering questions, informing about promotions, and recommending complementary products and services.
• Courtly handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience.
• Book appointments and support the execution of services and in‑store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed about new and existing products, ingredients, and benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests.
• Share benefits of the guest loyalty program and the Ulta Beauty app with guests.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business.
• Participate in ongoing training, brand and category education.
• Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to the dress code.
• Maintain store standards and cleanliness.
• Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing, inventory procedures, and shipment processing.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

• Education: High school diploma preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Skills: Passion for guest service, competency for selling, proficiency with basic technology (POS, Apple devices), strong customer relationship building, troubleshooting, independence and teamwork.
• Special Position Requirements: Work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting.
• Continuous and/or frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.

The pay range for this position is $14.00–$19.00 per hour, determined by education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, location, and business needs. Eligible associates may earn overtime pay as required by law. Full‑time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
