Principal SAP Functional Analyst – Power Plan

Piedmont, CA – 3 days onsite per week (Tues-Thurs)

In this role you are responsible for configuring, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading Power Plan to provide system solutions that meet business requirements.

• Define standard processes in Power Plan and drive adaptation in Finance and Tax areas.
• Analyze end-to-end complex business processes across all modules within Power Plan.
• Understand in detail the current and future business environment of the business organizations; effectively anticipate, identify, and fully meet the business needs using an integrated approach leveraging existing and new Power Plan capabilities.
• Identify, propose, and influence IT solutions to complex cross‑organizational business problems utilizing ERP capabilities; negotiate requirements and deliverables across multiple business and IT customers and organizations.
• Evaluate current customizations in the system to help business and IT partners understand risks and costs of customizing vs. using standard functionalities, advocating for using standard functionalities to lower future implementation cost and total cost of ownership (TCO) for solutions.

• Automate/optimize Power Plan system
• Map business requirements to SAP S4 system capabilities and configure to meet requirements
• Review design and technical specification documents for alignment with business solution
• Perform Power Plan configuration and do quality review and testing activities

• 10 years of experience in IT, preferably all in SAP
• Strong experience with Power Plan Adapter for SAP or similar
• Leadership experience

• Familiarity with CR, PM, Asset/ARO, Depr modules and their data flow
• Experience with the full lifecycle of SAP EAM projects, from creation and estimation through completion and month‑end close, including integration with Power Tax and Power Plan
