Forklift Operator, Material Handler

Operate gasoline or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting device such as a forklift, tugger, elevating platform to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or move products, equipment or materials in the production departments, warehouse or storage yard.
Compensation: USD $19.55 - $24.48/hr.
Shift: 2nd: 3PM-11:15PM and 3rd: 11PM-7:15AM.
The Forklift Operator is responsible to ensure that the Customer, People, and Investor goals are balanced and met.
Job Responsibilities- Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies.
- Safely position forks/ lifting platform under, over, or around loaded racks and transport load to designated area.
- Must be able to perform scanning and proper inventory control.
- Use truck stability factors with and without a load.
- Consistently perform proper pre-shift inspection every shift.
- Demonstrate knowledge of parking and shut down procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of process flow in Flow Rack system.
- Knowledge of SAP Shop Floor.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months to 1 year experience of driving a forklift in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to pass a background check/drug screen (No felonies in 7 years)
- Ability to repetitively lift 25-40 pounds, frequent sitting, occasionally standing, walking, stooping, reaching overhead, reaching forward, reaching below waist, handling, both hands required, both legs required.
