WSI is currently seeking Weekend Shift Material Handlers/Forklift Operators for its distribution center. These positions offer a $1,500.00 sign on bonus!

Work 36 Hours - Paid for 40!

WORK ONLY THREE DAYS A WEEK!!

Under general supervision, the Material Handler/Forklift Operator performs a variety of assignments, both technical and clerical, to receive, inspect, store and ship material but not limited to receipt, control, preparation, material distribution, records, and reports. Receives general direction on new assignment aspects and instructions as to how to perform required tasks and results expected.

Essential Functions

• Operates material handling equipment to receive, store, and ship material.
• Performs receiving and shipping inspections and identifies all incoming and outgoing material shipments to determine a) quantity is as ordered b) no damage is apparent, and c) documentation is available as required.
• Performs physical material inventories to establish, maintain, and document the receipt, shipment and control.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. on a consistent and regular basis.
• Must be able to work overtime, and on scheduled days off, with little or no advance notice.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Must be able to understand, read and write basic English.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations:
  Addition, Subtraction and Multiplication
• Must be able to read and understand the English alphabet.
• Must be able to coordinate a series of activities simultaneously.
• Must show willingness and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Must be observant, detailed and safety oriented.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. throughout the day.
• Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.

Salary:
From $15.50 per hour
