Are you the type of person who is driven to make a real impact by following established processes for assembly of high‑quality Vermeer equipment? In this role you will follow digital instructions to perform a variety of skills and tasks as you work with a team to ensure high quality work that meets our customers' needs. We're looking for a dedicated team player to build machines for customers across the globe.

• Follow provided job instructionss to assemble equipment and subassemblies for attachment to equipment per Vermeer's quality standards.
• Align components and bolts then fasten them according to torque specifications, install moving parts and test to ensure parts move as intended.
• Inspect painted parts to ensure quality.
• Apply decals, company logos, safety warning notices and other items to the finished product. May also attach doors, panels and other machine guarding.
• Calculate figures and apply basic mathematical functions including fractions and decimals.
• Support 5S/workplace organization goals of the department and offers suggestions and makes improvements that assist in achieving the department’s performance board metrics.

• Ability to complete Vermeer Assembly Training.
• Ability to complete a specified number of tasks in a certain amount of time repeatedly.
• Ability to consistently meet quality expectations.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals throughout the organization.
