Essential functions of the position include:

• Monitor assigned automated production lines, quickly respond to downtime issues, and help maintain safe, efficient operations.
• Perform basic equipment operation and setup, including HMI controls, robotics operation, weld parameter adjustments, and product changeovers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities (TPMs and PMs) to support equipment reliability and maximize production uptime.
• Repair, rebuild, test, and verify manufacturing equipment and tooling to ensure proper performance and quality standards.
• Assist maintenance technicians with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, robotic, and automation systems.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts by documenting equipment issues and helping implement reliability improvements.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work environment through strong 5S practices, inventory control, and proper handling of repairable components and spare parts.

Education:

Associate's degree in Mechatronics or Industrial Electronics required, or equivalent work/educational experience.

Work Experience / Technical Training: 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing facility in a technical capacity. Strong mechanical and electrical experience. Experience with industrial robots (Kuka, Fanuc, ABB, etc.) strongly preferred. Experience with PLC's (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and microcontrollers strongly preferred.
