As our Small Engine Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting Landscapers Supply’s ability to serve our external service customers with high efficiency. You enable customers to get their power equipment serviced as quickly as possible and to have a great experience. You offer expertise in identifying issues with their equipment and devising an efficient, effective solution. This role is an advanced position that requires excellent communication skills as well as technical skill.
Responsibilities- Servicing small engines for power equipment
- Providing excellent customer service from intake to release of equipment
- Listening and assessing equipment to determine a repair plan
- Communicating with the manager and other mechanics to ensure they have all necessary information for repairs and service
- Maintaining shop appearance
- Ensuring security and loss prevention
- Organizational and record‑keeping skills
- Ability to work and communicate with a team
- Ability to multitask, especially during the busy season
- Knowledge of power equipment and ability to work on small engines
- Ability to lift and handle up to 70 lbs
