Position:
Full‑time Battery Service Technician responsible for repairing industrial forklift batteries and chargers in the field.

Starting pay: $18–$24/hour plus a company vehicle. Additional benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 9 paid holidays, paid vacation time, 40 hours of paid sick time per year, and a SIMPLE IRA plan with matching contributions. Technicians have access to a service truck and are provided with uniforms.

Manufacturers, warehouses, and distribution centers across NC and SC rely on Carolina Industrial Products to power their electric forklift fleet by providing a premium line of industrial batteries and chargers. The company emphasizes quality, service, and customer‑specific solutions.

• Serve as the company's face in the field, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining forklift batteries and chargers.
• Communicate with customers to explain work performed and any additional costs.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure expert service delivery.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures.

• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening and DOT physical.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation and critical‑thinking ability.
• Self‑direction and ability to work independently.
• Electrical and forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
