Shipping Clerk 1st Shift

We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our client’s team in Piedmont, SC. In this role, you will play a critical part in our supply chain by managing the daily flow of incoming materials and outgoing customer orders. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable using computer inventory systems, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Process Shipments:
  Prepare, pack, and label domestic and international orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receive Inventory:
  Inspect arriving goods, verify contents against packing slips, and log items into the computer system.
• Data Entry:
  Update and maintain precise digital inventory records using warehouse software and Microsoft Excel.
• Freight Coordination:
  Work with major carriers (UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, and LTL freight trucks) to schedule pickups and handle shipping documentation.
• Maintain Safety Standards:
  Keep the shipping docks and warehouse aisles clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or logistics role (Preferred).
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency with computers, basic data entry, and spreadsheet software like MS Excel.

Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks on the warehouse floor.

Key Attributes:
Strong attention to detail, solid basic math skills, and excellent teamwork habits.
