IMEG Corp. is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Land Development) in our Sioux Falls, SD office. As a Civil Engineer, you will provide a high level of leadership, mentoring, and training for less experienced staff. This role could be technical, project management, marketing, or business development in nature.

• Make major design recommendations and design decisions with little input from senior staff.
• Plan design work by discipline for all project sizes and assign duties to staff working on projects.
• Review correspondence prepared by junior staff.
• Actively participate in quality control of projects.

• Contribute to leadership in some aspect of our Technical Operations Team for both large and small projects.
• Act as an advisor, analyze technical problems, and write reports.
• Play a significant role in project reviews for quality control for large complex projects.
• Provide technical assistance to resolve field issues; must be able to visit project sites and resolve technical issues with very little assistance from other senior staff.

• Effectively serve as Project Manager on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects.
• Identify prospective clients, assist in marketing to develop new clients, and prepare proposals for services.
• Consistently bring work into the firm with existing or new clients and participate in presentations to clients.
• Perform other duties assigned by the employer.

• Must be able to perform all essential duties and responsibilities listed for Civil Project Engineer II and have demonstrated leadership traits in either the Technical or Project Management Path items.
• Mastery of the technical aspects of one's discipline.
• Ability to mentor, motivate, and lead others.
• Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise.
• Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of qualifying experience.
• Professional Engineer license.
• This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
