We are seeking a skilled, experienced Technical Director to join our Operations and Maintenance Services team supporting a diverse array of treatment facilities across the US. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water treatment, with a proven track record of providing operational and regulatory compliance expertise to drinking water treatment facilities. This role is critical to helping to ensure the stability, efficiency, and compliance of water treatment systems under our care.

The position is location independent with an average expectation of 50% travel (typically 8-10 nights/month). Close to a major airport is a plus for reduced travel time.

• Provide expert guidance across our portfolio of facilities on the operation of water treatment plants, including troubleshooting, process control and optimization, and regulatory compliance.

  Work closely with facility-based operational staff, regulatory agencies, company leadership and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with plant performance goals and regulatory requirements.
• Quality Assurance:
  Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and maintenance activities.
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field required. Course work in data science/statistical methods is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in water treatment operations, treatment process troubleshooting and/or regulatory roles. Strong knowledge of SDWA requirements and industry standards for water treatment facility performance.
• Experience in project or initiative management, including planning, execution, budgeting or costing, and stakeholder management.
