Job - Campground Attendant (Seasonal)

Minimum Salary: $14.38 Hourly

Assist in the overall operation and upkeep of Lake Poinsett Recreation Area's Visitor Center/Museum, campgrounds, and day use facilities. Tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• cleaning comfort stations
• cleaning camping cabins
• cleaning vault toilets
• cleaning picnic shelters
• collecting fees and other customer service duties
• cleaning fire grates
• managing the Ecommerce system
• providing information to the public

Other duties as assigned.

Money handling experience is helpful. Ability to work independently, manage time well, and work in a variety of weather conditions outdoors.

Uniforms are provided and employees must comply with uniform dress code. Valid driver's license required.

• Knowledge of how to operate a computer and make change.
• Ability to learn how to operate a UTV, golf cart, and vehicle.
• Ability to learn how to properly clean and sanitize buildings throughout the park.
