As a Sales Trainee, you will gain hands‑on experience within the Agricultural (AG) and Construction Business sector while developing essential sales and customer‑relationship skills to build a successful career with Butler Machinery. This role is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to all aspects of Butler Machinery’s equipment operations, equipping you with a strong understanding of our business functions. In addition, you will support various departments through sales assistance and cross‑functional collaboration as you grow into a key contributor to the Butler team.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Be an expert on all brands, equipment, and services that Butler represents in our AG and Construction Business and systems.
- Be a master at building long-term relationships with current and new customers.
- Support the team with assisting with demos in the territory and farm shows.
- Travel for day trips or overnights for job shadowing or support of the team.
- Education in Agri‑Business, or business experience, training related to the agriculture industry.
- Basic knowledge of retail finance, current farming practices, or leasing.
- Ability to problem‑solve, be a self‑starter with high energy to learn and do more!
- Willingness to relocate as salesman, product specialist, demo operator or other openings across BMC.
