Principal Software Development Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Principal Software Engineer to lead the innovation, design, and development of advanced Salesforce software solutions for our enterprise healthcare systems. As a key technical leader, you will champion best practices in software engineering, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security in our mission-critical applications. Your role will be crucial in executing proofs of concepts and proofs of technologies, enabling the integration of innovative solutions into our development processes.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing complex enterprise systems, modernizing legacy applications, and mentoring development teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, architecture, security, and operations, to deliver innovative solutions that enhance healthcare services.

• Salesforce certified developer or architect certification
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering
• Experience with Generative AI technologies and frameworks
• Expertise in enterprise application architecture, API development, and microservices
• Deep understanding of Dev Sec Ops  principles, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as AutoRABIT or Copado
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
• Self-Starter and Learner - proactive self-starter with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies; able to work independently and take initiative in exploring innovative solutions

• Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance standards is a strong plus
• Experience API integrations with large-scale mainframe applications
• Experience designing and developing custom objects and workflows

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
