Our client, a leading logistics provider in Pietermaritzburg , is seeking a highly experienced and dependable Professional Code 14 Driver to join their fleet. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods across various routes within Kwa Zulu-Natal and potentially further afield. We are looking for an individual with an impeccable driving record and a strong work ethic, who takes pride in maintaining vehicles and adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.

• Operate heavy-duty vehicles, including articulated trucks (Code 14), safely and efficiently.
• Transport goods and materials according to scheduled delivery routes and timelines.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and protected during transit to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation as required by company policy and legislation.
• Adhere strictly to all road traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

• Valid Code 14 driver's license with an unblemished driving record.
• Professional Driver's Permit (PDP) is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience driving heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and understand delivery manifests and route plans.
