Position OverviewYou will assist the dental team with patient care, support dental staff during procedures, and help maintain an efficient, patient‑friendly practice.
What We Offer- Competitive hourly pay $28–$30
- Full‑time schedule:
Monday 7:45 AM–5 PM;
Tuesday 6:45 AM–12:30 PM;
Wednesday 7:45 AM–5 PM;
Friday 7:45 AM–1 PM - Health, dental and vision insurance

Responsibilities- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
- Take and develop X‑rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
- Assist dentist in managing dental and medical emergencies. CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory required.
- Completion of a certified dental assistant program
- 1 year on‑the‑job experience (with supporting documentation)
- X‑ray certification — required
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant — required
- Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended
- High school diploma or equivalent
Dental assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
