Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Be part of our esteemed skilled nursing facility, providing outstanding and individualized care. Your role as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) will focus on optimizing patients’ functional abilities, developing treatment plans tailored to each individual, and improving their quality of life. You will observe artificiously, assess and document progress in a timely manner, while communicating effectively with the therapy team, patients, and families.
We rely on you to provide timely feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues and to be an active team member interested in continuous professional development.
- Optimize functional abilities and skills of patients by creating and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Observe, assess, and document progress regularly and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the therapy team, patients, and families.
- Provide clinical and rehabilitation feedback to the supervising occupational therapist.
- Actively participate in team decisions and collaborative practice.
- An active state COTA license is required.
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
