Personal Injury Paralegal - Case Management & Settlement Focus

Position Type: Full-Time
Experience: 3+ Years Personal Injury (Plaintiff-Side Preferred)
Salary Range: $50,000 - $72,000 Total compensation (including bonuses)

The Opportunity:We seek an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Personal Injury Paralegal to manage our pre-litigation caseload from post-intake through settlement. This role focuses on developing demand packages, negotiating settlements with insurance adjusters, and ensuring efficient case progression. You will work closely with attorneys but have significant autonomy in case resolution.
Key Responsibilities:- Case Management (Post-Intake to Settlement): Oversee a portfolio of pre-litigation personal injury cases (auto accidents, slips/falls, etc.). Conduct client assessments, maintain communication, manage case deadlines, organize medical records, and document case activities thoroughly.
- Demand Package Drafting & Settlement Negotiation: Draft persuasive settlement demand packages, conduct liability and damages analysis, negotiate directly with insurance adjusters, and prepare settlement documentation.
- Client & Provider Liaison: Serve as primary contact for clients, communicate with medical providers, employers, witnesses, and insurance representatives.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal in plaintiff personal injury law.
- Proven experience drafting settlement demand packages and negotiating with insurance adjusters.
- Understanding of personal injury claims, damages, and insurance practices.
- Ability to analyze medical records and verify damages.
- Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information.
- Paralegal Certificate (ABA-approved).
- Experience with lien resolution.
- Familiarity with litigation procedures.
- Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish).
