Presbyterian Homes and Services of Kentucky is currently hiring full-time Personal Care Assistants for day and night shifts at our Cedar Creek Assisted Living Facility in Pikeville, KY.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED, preferred. Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents, good written and verbal communication skills.
- Assist residents with ADLs as scheduled or requested.
- Monitor and remind residents that self-administer medications.
- Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures, and as instructed by the Executive Director or designee.
- Change resident’s bed linens and make beds as requested.
- Adhere to the weekly housekeeping duties of the facility.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information (PHI). Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.
- Ensure that you treat all residents fairly and with kindness, dignity, and respect.
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the building during your complete shift.
