Position: Full‑Time Work Instructor/Driver

Location: AEDD – Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled

Pay: $12.50/hr DOE

Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM

We’re currently hiring a Work Instructor/Driver to join our team. This dual role offers a unique opportunity to teach, guide, and support adults in their daily work activities while also ensuring they get to and from our facility safely.

• As a Work Instructor: Support and supervise individuals as they complete meaningful work tasks.
• Provide guidance in areas such as communication, social development, and cognitive skills.
• Help consumers meet production goals while maintaining high standards for quality.
• Observe and track progress on individual goals, providing feedback and support.
• Facilitate group and one‑on‑one learning sessions, helping individuals grow and succeed in their personal and professional goals.
• As a Driver: Ensure the safe and timely transportation of consumers to and from the facility.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable vehicle for the safety and comfort of all passengers.
• Keep track of vehicle maintenance and daily transportation logs.

• 21 years or older.
• Valid Arkansas Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience in human services is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus; AEDD is happy to help you obtain it if you don’t already have it.
