Graphic Designer

Hand a blank artboard to most people and they freeze; hand it to you and a campaign falls out, which is why Public Service Institute is hiring a mid-level Graphic Designer. We're looking for 5+ years of InVision; in return you'll get $55,000 - $76,000, ownership, and a team worth joining.

• Reverse-engineer a competitor's hit to understand the mechanic, not copy the look
• Translate dense product specs into visuals a tired commuter grasps instantly
• Refine messaging and visuals using performance data and audience insight
• Curate the reference wall that keeps a 5-person studio pointed the same way
• Research trends and competitor work to keep Public Service Institute's output ahead of the curve
• Write microcopy that does the heavy lifting buttons usually get blamed for
• Keep the clarity-seeking brand promise intact while every channel demands its own dialect
• Test and optimize creative variations through A/B experiments

• Self-direction that survives a quiet Slack channel
• Cross-functional ease, from Visual Design engineers to Sketch marketers
• The discipline to finish the boring 20% that makes the rest matter
• An AR work history, or strong reasons you'll thrive here anyway
