Physician coverage is 7a-7p and 7p-7a.Coverage Need: 10 shifts per month
Annual ED Volume: ~40,000
Mid-Level Coverage: 24-hour NP/PA coverage
Requirements MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Residency trained in EM, FM, IM, or GSArkansas medical license DEA with Arkansas address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, & 5
Board Certified: ABEM, ABFM, or ABIMPrior Emergency Medicine experience required
Broad EM skill set appropriate for a critical access facility
CertificationsATLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS required
If not EM Board Certified: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required
Board Certification not required; non-board-certified providers must demonstrate 2,500 ED hours within the last 5 years and cannot supervise residents
