Summary of

Job Duties

The Undergraduate Student Assistant(s) will support CAIDA initiatives by assisting with program management, development efforts, and outreach activities. Students will gain hands‑on experience in AI and data analytics while contributing to applied projects, workshops, and industry partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist faculty and program staff in implementing AI/data‑driven projects.
  • Contribute to the development and testing of AI models, analytics pipelines, and datasets.
  • Support outreach efforts, including K‑12 workshops, recruitment events, and project showcases.
  • Help maintain computing resources, including workstations, servers, and cloud‑based platforms.
  • Document project workflows, results, and best practices for student learning.
  • Collaborate with other students, faculty, and community partners to design real‑world solutions.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled undergraduate student at UAPB (STEM, business, social sciences, or arts programs with interest in data/AI).
  • Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, data science, or analytics.
