* Job Description:

*** Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
* Provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunction.
* Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems.
* Responds to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations.
* Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule.
* Complete appropriate paperwork and reports
* Must comply with lockout/ tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs.
* Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical trouble shooting and repairs.
* Able to perform diagnosis and repairs without supervision.
* Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision
* Ability to assist with other mechanics as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Work in temperature that will vary with outside ambient temperatures and humidity.  It can be dusty, warm, cold and/or humid.
* The positions physical requirements will include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping and the ability to climb ladders, lifts, and scaffolds.
* Lifting will also be required and depending on department could be up to 70lbs.
