Position entails field and laboratory work assisting two UAPB fisheries graduate students on research projects in wetlands and tailwater rivers.
Qualifications- Proof of current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to receive both prior to employment)
- Completion of a boater's education course
- Valid driver's license with good record
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Capability to work in inclement weather (humid temperatures above 90°F and near freezing temperatures)
- A B.S. degree in Fisheries Science, Biology, or related field
- Fisheries field sampling experience (towing, trailering, driving tiller outboard motor vessels, driving 4-wheelers, field trucks)
- Macroinvertebrate identification experience
Salary: $30,960.00
