Position entails field and laboratory work assisting two UAPB fisheries graduate students on research projects in wetlands and tailwater rivers.

• Proof of current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to receive both prior to employment)
• Completion of a boater's education course
• Valid driver's license with good record
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Capability to work in inclement weather (humid temperatures above 90°F and near freezing temperatures)

• A B.S. degree in Fisheries Science, Biology, or related field
• Fisheries field sampling experience (towing, trailering, driving tiller outboard motor vessels, driving 4-wheelers, field trucks)
• Macroinvertebrate identification experience

Salary: $30,960.00
