Maintains all automotive and mechanical equipment in good operating condition.

• Minimum of 2 years training at an auto mechanic technical school.
• Must have ASE Certification.
• Must have a valid AR Driver’s License / CDL.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a journeyman auto mechanic at a dealership garage or equivalent.
• Completion of current auto trade extension courses on items such as: auto electronics, transmissions, air conditioning, differentials, brakes, and other related subjects.
• Experience in diesel mechanics is welcomed.
• Ability to keep service records up-to-date.
• Training and experience in oxy-acetylene and arc welding.
• Should have knowledge of safety procedures related to hazardous materials.

Able to bend, stoop, and lift. Average physical strength is required for lifting heavy objects.
