Position Overview
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory control of incoming and outgoing supplies and materials. The position involves organizing, sorting, and transferring goods, monitoring packages from shipment to final destination, and operating equipment such as lift trucks or hand trucks. The clerk must unload trucks, receive deliveries, maintain accurate logs of daily movements, scan inventory, and count items precisely.
This role also provides backup support to the shipping and receiving department.
- Maintain inventory control of incoming and outgoing supplies and materials.
- Organize, sort, and transfer goods between locations.
- Monitor packages from start to finish, ensuring proper techniques are used.
- Operate lift truck or hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments.
- Unload trucks and document delivery receivables.
- Maintain an accurate log of daily moves and scanning inventory.
- Provide additional backup support for the shipping and receiving department.
- Must be able to pull, push, and lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Valid Arkansas driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
USD 22,880.00 – 32,885.00 per year
