Pine Valley Golf Club, consistently ranked among the top golf courses in the world, is seeking an experienced Irrigation Manager to join its Golf Course Maintenance team.
Founded in 1913, Pine Valley is known for its uncompromising standards for playing conditions, thoughtful land stewardship, and long-term investment in its property. The Club maintains a large and diverse footprint that includes the championship golf course, a 10-hole short course, expansive practice facility, residential properties, and numerous club buildings and landscaped areas.

The Irrigation Manager is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continual improvement of all irrigation and water management systems across the property. This individual will work closely with the Director of Agronomy and Assistant Superintendents to support Pine Valley’s expectations for firm, fast, and consistent playing conditions.
- Oversee daily operation, maintenance, and repair of all irrigation systems across the championship course, short course, practice facility and surrounding properties
- Serve as a primary contributor to the planning, coordination, and execution of the new irrigation system installation in fall/winter 2026
- Manage pump stations, irrigation lakes, central control systems, and related infrastructure
- Assist in water management strategies that align with agronomic goals and sustainability initiatives
- Train and assist staff in proper irrigation operation and repair techniques
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, upgrades, and system performance
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors as needed
- Support broader golf course maintenance and property operations as required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Post‑secondary education in turfgrass management, irrigation technology, or a related field preferred
- Industry certifications related to irrigation or turf management are a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of golf course irrigation management experience preferred
- Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining modern irrigation systems
- Experience with Watertronics pumping systems and Rain Bird central control systems strongly preferred
- Experience with large‑scale irrigation renovations or new system installations highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high‑expectation environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with irrigation repair and maintenance
