A well-established private practice located in the heart of Pinehurst, NC is seeking a motivated and compassionate Optometrist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced ODs and upcoming 2025 graduates (must have passed the NC Law Exam at the time of hire) who are looking for a medically focused setting with a strong support staff, modern equipment, and a path to partnership.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule:
  Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (closed daily 12–1 for lunch)
• No weekends!
• Employment Type:
  Full-time preferred; part-time considered
• Compensation:
  • Compensation of $150K-$250K
  • 15% of collected revenue (exams + optical sales)

Practice Overview:
This private practice provides comprehensive eye care services, including:

• Routine eye exams
• Hard-to-fit contact lens fittings and follow-ups
• Pre- and post-op care for cataract and refractive surgeries
• Diabetic, pediatric, and low vision care
• Diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, infections, and injuries

Daily Patient Flow:

• 18–20 patients per day
• Patient demographic: primarily older/resort community population, but all ages seen

Support & Technology:

• 3 ODs currently on staff
• Full tech team handles pre-testing and workups
• Dedicated scribes for each doctor
• Equipment includes: OCT, Visual Field, Fundus Photography,Pachymetry, ERG, RCC color vision, Topography, Autorefractor, and Auto lensometer.

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed in North Carolina (or eligible)
• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
• Strong interest in medical optometry
• Team-oriented with a commitment to quality patient care
• New grads welcome (2025 grads must have passed NC Law Exam prior to start)
