Electrophysiologist Pinehurst, NC

• Clinical responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient services.
• Practice at First Health’s flagship campus, Moore Regional Hospital (MRH) in Pinehurst, NC. The Reid Heart Center – on the MRH campus – has 4 cath labs, 3 EP labs, and 2 hybrid OR suites. Two EP labs newly replaced in 2025 (one biplane system, two single-plane systems).
• All labs are anesthesia capable and support: simple to complex ablations, lead extractions, CIED implants Watchman implants, TAVR, ASD/PFO closure, Impella, and a CTO program.
• Current and projected volumes support 4 EPs and 3 EP labs. With one EP physician retiring summer 2026, we are looking for the new EP to start next year.
• Two of the EP labs have Bard recording systems, Carto C3 mapping systems, Maestro and Stockert RF generators, Bayliss RF generators, Bovie, Plasma Blade, and GE Vivid IQ echo machines for ICE. The newly added third EP lab has a Bard recording system and will add a full mapping system in the near future with preference given to candidates choosing. Additionally, we have Boston Scientific Farapulse PFA system, Biosense Webster Varipulse generator, Medtronic Cryoablation console, Spectranetics laser, and Cook manual extraction systems.
• Hospital employment with the First Health Physician Group, a physician-led, multi-specialty medical group of 400+ providers, including 6 general cardiologists, 2 interventionalists, 1 electrophysiologist, and 3 cardiothoracic surgeons.
• Exceptionally collegial relationship with Pinehurst Medical Clinic, a local multi-specialty private practice that includes 6 general cardiologists, 6 interventionalists, and 3 electrophysiologists (one retiring).
