First Health is pleased to partner with Southern Pines Women’s Health Center (SPWHC) to recruit physicians for inpatient and outpatient coverage. SPWHC is a thriving private practice based in Pinehurst, NC with six office locations. First Health of the Carolinas is a private, community-based health care network serving the mid-Carolinas, named Money Magazine and The Leapfrog Group’s first-ever Best Maternity Hospitals list.

• Part-time/Full-time, or Full-time with potential partnership opportunity-ambulatory and in-patient setting
• Flexible call/work schedule: 8 doctors taking call with varying degrees of contribution to the call schedule in addition to growing midwifery coverage
• Deliveries and surgeries are performed at First Health’s flagship hospital (402 beds) in Pinehurst, NC, including access to three Da Vinci Robots for advanced robotic surgery
• Highly skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team including Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, Neonatologists, Level III NICU, and pelvic floor PT.
