Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License required. Experience in Telemetry, Intermediate Care, OR, Cath Lab or other specialty area preferred. BCLS Required. ACLS required or ability to obtain ACLS within 6 months in position required.
Reid is a 12-bed intermediate care unit specializing in the care of patients with moderate to severe medical and cardiac diagnoses such as sepsis, acute respiratory failure, diabetic keto acidosis, NSTEMI, atrial fibrillation/flutter and CHF. Nurses on this unit utilize a broad skill set, initiate and titrate drips that require cardiac monitoring and assist with bedside procedures such as transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions.
