Overview
Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating First Health of the Carolinas Safety and Emergency Management program.
QualificationsBachelors Degree in Safety/Emergency Management or related field. Masters Degree preferred. Must have working knowledge of Life Safety Codes. NFPA Codes, OSHA Standards and DNV Standards. The preferred candidate will have FEMA course certs: IS 100, IS 200, IS 700, IS 300, IS 400, Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program training, Human Subject Protections Certification as well as OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations training required.
Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) preferred. At least 4 years experience in safety and emergency management in a healthcare environment preferred with at least 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
