Join to apply for the Lab Courier role at First Health of the Carolinas.
Overview:
To provide courier service for transporting laboratory specimens between First Health entities and clinics.
Note: This is a Half-Time position, not full-time.
Responsibilities:
- Performs lab specimen pick-ups and deliveries in a timely manner following designated routes.
- Effectively communicates problems or delays in expected arrival times.
- Manages and maintains specimen integrity throughout the transport process.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current valid NC or SC driver’s license with a good driving history.
- Working knowledge of laboratory safety, specimen handling, and infection control standards preferred.
